FEATURED CASE STUDY

R&J Trucking and Southern Haulers

Founded over 60 years ago, R&J Trucking out of Youngstown, OH began as a hauler of construction materials across Ohio. The company steadily expanded and in 1999, R&J’s parent company, American Bulk Commodities purchased Southern Haulers, based out of Alabama.

With a fleet of over 600 trucks and 1,000 trailers, R&J and Southern Haulers have grown into national leaders in the bulk commodities hauling industry.

R&J Trucking and Southern Haulers Partner with Drive My Way for Success

R&J Trucking partnered with Drive My Way to recruit for retention and had an immediate need of filling CDL A Local Driver positions in Ohio. After seeing success using Drive My Way to fill those positions, R&J Trucking referred Southern Haulers, another subsidiary of American Bulk Commodities, to Drive My Way.

Southern Haulers found similar success using Drive My Way to find CDL A Regional Pneumatic and Local Dump Truck Drivers throughout Alabama and Tennessee. Drive My Way’s “quality over quantity” approach to recruiting helped R&J Trucking and Southern Haulers find these drivers.
